200 Volunteers Needed on Race Day

Volunteer DuPage PADS is seeking volunteers to assist in a variety of capacities on September 10, 2011 for our annual Run/Walk event.

Hours for volunteers on the day of the event are 6:00am-10:00am. Registered volunteers receive breakfast, t-shirt and volunteer certificate.

Volunteer positions include:

Registration Workers – Check in event participants the day of event, hand out shirts, and more.

Set-up and Runners – Get the event ready and help move items during event.

Water Station Workers – Hand out water to runners passing 1 of 3 water stations. Water Station sponsorships are available, click here for more information.

Race Photo Traffic Monitors – Keep everyone safe and on the course. Be located along route and direct/cheer passing runners and walkers.

Finish Line Assistance – Assist participants finishing the race along the final quarter mile and finish line.

Clean Up – Not a glamorous job, but a big one. Help us leave Wheaton cleaner than when we started by cleaning the main event site and along the course.
